Thierry ” Shal” Marianne
As a French citizen living in Budapest, Shal brings a significantly contrasting perspective to the site. The privacy abuses and freedom losses during World War II, as well as a more socialist government in France, will hopefully be a though provoking and insightful addition. Not only does Shal deal with the European Union’s Data Protection Directive on a daily basis, but living in Hungary, he sees the struggles of a country trying to break into the EU with economic and privacy challenges we can’t even imagine in the US.
