This emergency transition was required as we overran our database limit 2 days earlier than our originally scheduled cut [...] We also just finished the next chunk of the CIPP/IT Common Body of Knowledge questions – since last week, we added 250 more CIPP/IT questions. We finished 100 more questions based on the Privacy in Engineering document (more info in the forum). This document is specifically covered in one of five chapters of the CIPP/IT training document (it’s not quite a book yet). The questions are available under premium services to Gold and Silver subscribers in the new test engine now. We’ll get all of these on the Free test section as fast as possible, but it takes a good deal of time to do so with creating the pages and the links. The Alpha Silver package now includes all of the tests programmed for the new test engine (with explanations and correct answers). The Alpha Gold package still offers all the features of the Silver and Bronze packages and the Foundations Prep Guide, and now has the added benefit of printable versions of the tests. We at the CIPP Guide are getting to that point. The site is far from self-sufficient between hosting fees, development costs, advertising and time. We are at the moment where we decide what to do with the new products we’re developing. After much blood, sweat and tears, we will extend our membership levels, incorporating a paid subscription area of the site. The free access that users had before this change will continue – forums and test questions will remain free and open to all registered users.
